These cool Dolci wooden earrings by Moissue are available in three differenty styles/shapes (cylinder, cube, and cone) at designboom.

Each of these Dolci earrings are made from wood and stainless steel elements, layered like boiled candy, with the unique grain of reclaimed wood making each hand-made accessory one-of-a-kind.

Switzerland-based art photographer Fabian Oefner used high-speed flash photography to capture the life of soap bubbles from their creation to the exact moment of bursting in his stunning photo series titled Iridient.

Using High Speed Flash Units, his images show soap bubbles in the moment of bursting. In the first few images, you can still see the bubbles intact, a few instants after their creation. In the last pictures, you see how the thin film of soap starts to disappear, leaving behind countless tiny drops of soap water.

These images are simply stunning.

London-based architecture and luxury interior design practice Lawson Robb have completed the Dark Atmospheric Interiors project. Completed in 2012, the luxurious property can be found just off Berkeley Square in London, United Kingdom.

The fundamental principle for successfully creating an atmospheric interior for a room that has a dark colour scheme is to incorporate texture and pattern which brings depth, flavour and character to your overall scheme. Combining and layering contrasting textures is integral to designing an interior that will not appear flat and void of visual interest. A lack of layers can lead to an impersonal, unwelcoming space like in thiscontemporary London property. Contrast within textural differences ensures a powerful impact. Putting a little extra fun into dinner time and boardroom meetings, this four poster table uses its structure to suspend a central GEO lampshade and eight hanging chairs that sway playfully.
This design creates an exceptionally divergent experience and aesthetic, creating a room within a room, with chairs that float around the table, it also makes vacuuming a breeze.

Teachers – Fairy Tales


I recently discovered Teachers, A Web Series, and found these ladies and their shorts extremely funny. Conceived by Matt Miller and The Katydids, Teachers chronicles the misdeeds and awkward interactions of six mid-western elementary school teachers just tryin’ to navigate the pitfalls of internet dating and adult female friendships all while molding America’s youth.
