This Full Moon credenza is by Designer Sotirios Papadopoulos. A striking credenza with a photorealistic luminous image of the moon printed on its surface, in a limited edition of 24. Coated with ELI (Eco Light Inside — an eco-friendly material developed by designer Sotirios Papadopoulos) which creates a realistic glowing effect when the lights go out. Putting a little extra fun into dinner time and boardroom meetings, this four poster table uses its structure to suspend a central GEO lampshade and eight hanging chairs that sway playfully.
This design creates an exceptionally divergent experience and aesthetic, creating a room within a room, with chairs that float around the table, it also makes vacuuming a breeze.

Secret Compartment Table
The Kai Table designed by Naoki Hirakoso and Takmitsu Kitahara is all about surprises, as it’s constructed almost entirely of secret compartments. From sliding drawers and hinged cupboards, to a number of shifting panels, the entire piece is built like an elaborate wooden puzzle.
Biplane Engine Table
What do you do with a spare World War II biplane engine? Make it into a functional art like this coffee table. Currently on display at Decoratum Gallery in London, the Cylinder Radial Engine Table is made from a US Army Boeing-Stearman PT-13 engine acquired from the Canadian Museum of Flight, Langley, British Columbia. Constructed between 1936 and 1938, the innovative piece features a simple clear glass top so you can see through to the complex engine workings below.
Pencil Bench

Digital TRON House to be built
During Milan Design Week next month (April 11-17, 2011), Disney will partner with Corian to recreate the glassy, futuristic set from Disney’s Tron Legacy that captured better reviews from design writers—who were naturally enchanted with production team’s use of midcentury furniture—than the movie itself did from critics. Visually inspired by the feeling of floating that the main character felt in the French movie, “Le Ballon Rouge” (1953), Japanese design firm h220430’s Balloon Bench appears as if it’ll float up, up, and away! This fun take on a bench would be a great addition to your living room or perhaps an office waiting room. The plastic balloons high anchors in the ceiling to support the bench and the weight of you and your friends sitting on it. It’s a pretty cool idea.
Designer Joe Doucet’s ScrewTop Table
Furniture designer Joe Doucet‘s new Whyte Label line includes the WL01 “ScrewTop” table which uses its form of construction as a design feature. The table uses giant screws as part of the design, for a table that is both attractive and very easy to assemble. This is no assembly line table, as each one is custom-made upon order. Prices range from $10,000 to $15,000.
