Enjoy these amazing solar eclipse pictures by Czech photographer Miloslav Druckmüller from the Brno University of Technology, These amazing composite images capture the moon during a total solar eclipse revealing a vast solar corona. To achieve the crystal clear effect the shots are comprised from some 40+ photos taken with two different lenses. Additional clarity was achieved due to the incredibly remote location chosen to view the eclipse from, a pier just outside the Enewetak Radiological Observatory on the Marshall Islands, smack dab in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. You can see several more images from the project at Milosav Druckmüller’s website.
Photographer Brad Goldpaint captured/composed/compiled this amazing time-lapse video of the night sky. Titled “Within Two Worlds”, this is a treat for your eyes and ears.
From the artist himself:
“Within Two Worlds depicts an alternate perspective by giving us the illusion of times movement, signifying a beginning and end within a world of constant contradiction. It appears you are traveling in the midst of a dream, half-sleeping, half-waking, and touching the arch connecting heaven and earth.”
The artist Sonja Hinrichsen recently made a beautiful large scale snow drawing at Rabbit Ears Pass in Colorado. With the help of five friends, this beautiful, yet temporary snow drawing was created.
This cool picture, titled Red Anemone, is artist Katinka Matson’s latest flower portrait. Katinka creates her art with a high-resolution digital scanner, enabling the level of great detail found in her work.
